Foundation In Business Information Technology

Our Foundation in Business IT programme introduces you to the world of business with an initial grounding in management skills and IT knowledge. The academic knowledge and practical skills gained will help springboard you into the next level - a Business or IT degree programme.

Students will study common subjects in the first semester. You will then have the choice to pick a specific pathway.

The Business pathway provides a solid fundamental understanding of concepts, principles, structures and behaviours of an organisation, the market and the consumer.

The IT pathway leads you to discover programming fundamentals with an introduction to database. It is designed to promote an understanding of the technical and humanistic aspects of computing.

REquirements:

Business Pathway

• SPM / O Level: 5 credits including English and a pass in Maths
• UEC: 4 Bs including a credit in English and a pass in Maths

IT Pathway

• SPM / O Level: 5 credits including English and Maths
• UEC: 4 Bs including credits in English and Maths
